Kakumeiki Valvrave episode 7 is about who will control the future of the new country the JIOR students have made. It starts off with a weird vision of the future where Saki is fighting against a transformer and after destroying it she talks about keeping a promise. Then the student council is fighting Haruto for control of the newly found Valvraves. L-elf appears back on the scene to try to negotiate with Shoko to have the new country go along with his plan. When that does not work L-elf puts the module on lockdown. Thunder and the girls of the cooking class try to over throw him, but he easily takes them down. A-drei tries to take L-elf back to be his helper, but L-elf will not which leads to a battle.
Kakumeiki Valvrave is giving information about the transformation the pilots make when they give up humanity a little at a time. The beginning of the episode shows the longevity and eternal youth the pilots now have. At the end of the episode it shows that the bodies the pilots take over not only remember actions, but the feelings of the host as well. If it did not then Haruto would have no reason to cry over that photo.
When will writer’s learn that killing off a character that people have no reason to care about is a waste of time. Making Aina a bit more important for episode 7 when she was never important before does not make people feel attached to her. Also her death was not even shown, so there was not even the shock of watching her die. The death seems like an afterthought. I hope that it is the thing that drives Kyuma to be a pilot and not just a waste of my time.
Aina has truly died in vain.
This episode of Kakumeiki Valvrave has a lot of moments that do not make a lot of sense. There was a whole mech coming into the module without anyone knowing about it. Plus they had a whole army outside that was a surprise as well. Shouldn’t the students have learned to pay more attention to their command center after they got attacked last episode. They have the screens to keep a watch on this stuff. Also the doors are all locked and secure. The teacher makes it into the room and when they ask him how he got in he mentions that he is a physics teacher.
