The most important and fun character of the series in Stardust Crusaders debuts here. It is time for Polnareff.
The Rundown for Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Episode 31
The episode starts with Polnareff and Avdol talking about how awesome they are to each other. Each one is even more awesome than the other in a myriad of ways. As you can expect this is a bit silly.
They have a somewhat decent fight with them using their powers in innovative ways. Avdol reveals he can store flames in objects and Polnareff takes his armor off to go incredibly fast.
Avdol easily defeats him with some tricky placement of his fire. They fiddle around a bit with stabs and also random flames being shot out. It’s the standard fight for someone joining the cast. A massive explosion underground manages to burn him badly.
Polnareff was being controlled by a flesh bud and therefore joins them after his defeat. They also find out that he is chasing a man with two right arms. Also we should note Dio uses Hermit Purple again, my mistake on saying he used it just once. But why does he get to have two stands since he has parts of two bodies? That kind of seems silly when it at least should not be the same as Joseph’s.
Thoughts on Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Episode 31
There is not much to say about this episode other than things are still going well. There is some odd 3D in it but it still seems to fit. The Kaboom is so completely appropriate to the series that it works.
Really all we can say about this one is that we are looking forward to what they will be doing with the amusing later episodes. Magnetic stands and fog are rife for some silly animation.
