Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure episode 2 goes over Jonathan Jostar trying to find evidence that Dio poisoned their father. It also goes over Dio attempting to understand the mask.
Overview of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Episode 2
Dio and Jonathan have grown up. Dio has been slowly poisoning their father for the money. Jonathan, at that time, was studying an ancient mask. Jonathan goes to a rough part of the city to find evidence of the poison. He gets in a dangerous fight, but gets the evidence he needs from a new friend known as R.E.O. Speedwagon. Meanwhile Dio discovers that blood is the key to activating the mask after killing one man and turning the other into a vampire. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, of Dio meeting Jonathan while holding the mask.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure and the worry of CGI
Some fans are worried that the CGI in the series is going to ruin it. It is clearly too soon to see in that area. The opening, is horrendous, as you can see above. However the CGI in the show itself has been fine. You can also see that above, in the picture of Dio. Hopefully they will not overuse it in the main show.
Jonathan and Dio’s Current relationship
This episode serves to act as a bridge to when Dio becomes a vampire. It sets up essential plot points such as Jonathan finding evidence on Dio and meeting Speedwagon. Overall it is a very good transition segment with some light fighting.
Vampires and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure
In this episode,the main draw of the first three books is shown. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure deals in old-school vampires. These vampires are created from the mask. They are weak to sunlight, and do need to suck blood. They do differ in some ways though. They have insane regeneration and can only be killed by the power of sunlight. They also suck blood through their fingers. This melding of older vampires with new ways to handle them gives this version a real charm.
