The new Humble Indie Bundle Voxatron Bundle has received several new games. We can only assume this is a step to up the competition in the market now that things are heating up.
The first Humble Indie Bundle classic is Gish. It is an amusing platformer where you play a fanged gelatinous creature that has to navigate through multiple levels. Gish has been around for some time, and was one of the games that put Edmund McMillen and Alex Austin on the indie map.
The next Humble Indie Bundle entries are all from developer Lexaloffle games, who actually made Voxatron. These are:
- Jasper’s Journeys: A very fast-paced platformer in which you play Jasper on a magical quest. You of course run into the standard dragons, warriors and wizards.
- Chocolate Castle: A puzzle game where you slide various blocks around in order to make shapes.
- Zen Puzzle Garden: You play a monk who is trying fiercely to position his rocks correctly in his garden. If you don’t position them correctly, the Gods could be angry! Or not.
And that’s it. While most of us have played Gish, more games is never a bad thing. It seems that the new strategy for Humble Indie Bundle is to bring out a game then build around it. Which isn’t a bad strategy as long as they keep up the practice of releasing quite a few games for a low price.
Now that all of them have competition, we the fans are winning. Expect more great deals like this from Humble Indie Bundle as time goes on. Be sure to check out their site here: Humble Bundle. We hope to do a guide in the future for how you can find a ton of great games from various sites at a cheap price, so stay with us.
