Humble Indie Bundle 3 released - come hear about the games.

The new Humble Indie Bundle has quite a few good games on it, but many people already have them. It’s a bit disappointing since the first indie bundle was a massive conglomeration of off the wall games. Update: Bundle 2 has been added!

There have even been side bundles, with each one having less of a unique flair. Frozenbyte in particular did a side bundle just to do one. That being said, if by some chance you don’t already have these Humble Indie Bundle 3 is still a great value. If you haven’t played VVVVVV or Crayon Physics Deluxe you are missing out.

Let’s take a second to go over some of the more exciting games in Humble Indie Bundle 3. Crayon Physics Deluxe is a kid’s game with a surprising amount of depth. You can actually draw what you want, from platforms to complicated lever systems. Even for older players it’s a surprisingly fun puzzle game.

Another major title in this bundle is Hammerfight. Hammerfight is noteworthy for its absolutely bizarre and confusing control scheme, in which you literally have to spin your mouse around to attack. This is because your weapon swings around the ship in a circular motion as you try to knock other players from the sky.

VVVVVV is another amusing puzzle game in which you are able to reverse gravity in order to travel in a huge ship. The most noteworthy thing about the game is the fact that you will see and be attacked by a variety of strange objects, from letter to television sets. It’s a game that always keeps you a little confused and on your toes from start to finish.

Overall what was a lackluster compilation has turned into an excellent one with the inclusion of games from two. It’s quite an impressive package with a huge amount of playtime for you.
