The Humble Bundle for mobile gamers and the Humble Weekly sale have had some additions.
The Tripwire Humble Bundle
First I must admonish myself. I am obviously going to say that the Tripwire Humble Weekly Sale is worth it. That is because they are one of my favorite developers. From their PR associations to the games themselves, they have impressed me. That being said the weekly sale is excellent anyway. For $2.87 or more it comes with:
- Red Orchestra and the soundtrack for it
- Red Orchestra 2 GOTY and the soundtrack for it
- Killing Floor, the soundtrack and 11 pieces of DLC
These are all demonstrably good games despite how we feel. We thought Bastion being a dollar was ridiculous but this is perhaps more so. If the Humble Bundle keeps doing things like this it will be hard to compete with them. On the other hand, there is plenty of room for a variety of bundles. Check it out here: Weekly. If you somehow haven’t heard of these games, Red Orchestra is an amazing war simulator. Killing Floor is a rather comical zombie killing and dosh collecting game.
Game Added to the Humble Bundle for Mobile Gamers
Those who pay more than $5.53 on this bundle get a few more games now. Here is a quick rundown of the games:
- Funky Smugglers is a touch/rhythm game in which you find hidden contraband on smugglers. It has some nice music.
- Raiden Legacy has four games in one from the legendary Raiden series. If you love shoot em’ ups this is for you.
- Another World is the legendary adventure/platformer that made a genre popular.
Is this one worth buying? Yes, due to Raiden and Another World. They are incredible games that you must play at least once. As usual some of the proceeds go to charity. You can even pay a dollar for these if you want the base package. You can find the mobile bundle here: Mobile.
