Muse games has done some very beautiful games in the past. This includes Guns of Icarus which is a nice shooter with an extraordinary style. They’re now going to be updating the game and making it into Guns of Icarus Online. In fact, their Kickstarter has already succeeded.
The first thing you might notice about Guns of Icarus Online is the updated graphics. This version is looking extremely polished already. It is leaps and bounds over their previous version. Even beyond the splendor of the updated graphics, the gameplay promises to be even better.
While we’ve seen some nice atmospheric effects, we haven’t gotten much more than a few videos. This is probably because the game is in the very early stages awaiting Kickstarter funds. We’re excited to see what they can do with the significant funding coming their way.
Their new game promises to introduce extra depth never before seen in a squad based game. You will have to repair and defend the vital parts of the ship as well as protect the team.
As for the basic premise of Guns of Icarus Online, you’re part of an airship crew. You are fighting other airships and trying to make sure that your team doesn’t crash down in a fireball. It has a definite steam-punk atmosphere to it, although the style is decidedly high-tech on many weapons.
The Kickstarter has already succeeded, however there is still time to get in on the Guns of Icarus Online Kickstarter. Rewards include:

- Beta access.
- Exclusive costumes.
- A USB stick with bonuses.
- Some of them have already sold out, including the ability to design part of the game.
