Global Agenda has released their new, free expansion: the Recursive Colony. Battle new enemies in a fresh instance.
For those unfamiliar, Global Agenda is a free-to-play MMO from Hi-rez studios. You can pick it up on Steam or from their site. A group of sentient robotic beings has taken over, and they’re multiplying. You and your friends will travel through several new missions with interesting quest chains and gargantuan bosses.
For steadfast fans who have played Global Agenda for a long time there are now more daily repeatable quests. Both single players and teams can check out the various new missions including 4-man defense Raids. These are now available to groups of 1-4 around 20+.
As far as items go, the list of new options is significant:
- New cosmetic items including dyes, flairs and trails.
- New Pets which you can both get as rewards and craft.
- New Blueprints, these apply to consumables and mods. Crafting is also easier because components are within the zone.
But what about the maps? Well there are some new additions for you to play on:
- Push Dust will be in the Merc queue.
- The map Colony Caverns will now be in the Beta Queue. It is a PVP acquisition/CTR map.
There are several improvements to the general user interface:
- You can now travel between different Open Zones and the VR arena.
- Chat is improved with Open Zone cross-instance chat channels.
- You can disconnect to the character select screen without re-logging.
- The Item Vendor user interface has been improved.
There are also some general improvements to the game itself:
- For new players, there are character-specific intro missions. This means that the game will be easier than ever to get in to.
- Some quests actually change the state of the world now. We hope to see more of this in future editions as well.
While this is a simple news post, we hope to have a full review of this game in the near future. Stick with us for more news on how Global Agenda is improving.
