Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince episodes 15 and 16 focus on the Wulgaru finding their target and starting their attack on Gurantseere Cosmopolitan Academy.
Thankfully in episodes 15 and 16 of Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince the emphasis of the show is no longer about Ange’s gender. In fact Ange is no longer the focus at all. Izuru goes back to being the focus of the group as the leader and recently harmed hero. Unfortunately there still is not much revealed about Izuru’s mech leveling up. We do find out that the DNA of the pilots is inside the mechs.
When Izuru is in the infirmary the commanders bring up that he might lose his personality. For a while Izuru is different, but it did not seem like he lost his personality so much as became better at all the things he did. Izuru was the charismatic hero, a good manga author, and better at fighting, all things he personally wanted. Maybe that was not with the awakening of his unit, since he was knocked out of harmony by Kei’s cake.
Simon calling in Asagi and Izuru to offer to release them from fighting so they can be teachers is pretty confusing. Asagi and Izuru are the best leaders that the group has, and without them the group would be lost. Kei would most likely be the next in line for leadership, and I do not think that she has the same following Asagi and Izuru have. The only thing that would make sense about that confrontation would be that Simon wants to make sure the leaders of the group are committed to fighting to help inspire and correctly lead the group.
For a while Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince was keeping the politics pretty low key, but this episode brings up a whole meeting about buying technology. It shows the different factions keeping technology that could save the planet away from the opponents to get resources in space. Seems pretty silly since they will not need resources if they are dead. Politics and money are more important than being alive apparently.
Next few episodes should be about the big battle with the Wulgaru over the school. Probably will not be much to write about, so I will probably do those episodes in a big batch as well. The planet Earth is not ready for this. It should be a bloodbath, but the MJP and Dobermen will probably pull something incredible off. Otherwise there might be the first major character death of the series.
