Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince episode 23 is about trying to salvage the battle against the Wulgaru after the first shot did not hit. There was ramming of materials into the gate, tons of drama about the mechs coming back for more energy and other drama. Not much was accomplished from all this though.
Team Rabbits and the military sure try some unorthodox methods to try to break the gate after their initial shot failed. Ramming some of their vessels into the gate controls seems pretty extreme. If the initial ramming had not succeeded would they have kept at it? It seems like it since they went right back to that plan after the straggle laser did not finish it off. I do not understand why the group seemed surprised when the straggle laser ship went down. They had been fired at the whole time. It was only a matter of time before the enemy would take their best weapon down. Another question is that in an important operation like this why would they not have a backup plan. If the enemy had shot down the straggle laser to begin with what were they planning on doing?
Hopefully they will soon have something happen because of Teoria coming out and announcing her presence. Her appearance did not stop the fighting as she somehow thought. How dense can she be? She is announcing who she is and asking them to stop based on being part of the family. Why would they listen to her when they get their orders directly from the king? She is just going to start drama and she should know that.
At the end of episode 23 the show is still basically at the same point it was at the beginning. It seems like a waste when there is just a chip on the gate and Izuru in the battle after a whole episode. How long are they going to drag out this battle for the gate?
