Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince episode 21 is all about preparing to leave for the mission to blow up the gate. People talk about who will be going on the mission and who will be left behind. The citizens evacuate, but the whole team is needed to try and convince a little girl from the support team to go to Earth for safety. She still does not end up going.
When I first started watching this episode of Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince I thought there were way too many episodes before the end of the season and they are already moving in on the gate. Does not look like it will go well for the allies. This plan will not work. That is what I thought at first, but it took a whole episode to prepare to leave. A whole episode to go back and forth on who is going and who is not. Did we really even have to go into whether the little girl from the mechanics was going to leave for safety? At this rate will they even finish the battle in time for the end of the season.
Izuru decides that it is more important to help his friends fight than to keep living because it is what he was born to do. No one cares what he thinks, so he is cut out of the mission to stay behind as support. They even lock up his mech, so he can not sneak out in it. Considering the mission they are going out on he will probably see some action anyway. Nice thought though guys.
Rin usually hands out suckers without wrappers when she talks to the team. When she tells Izuru that he will not be able to participate she hands him a sucker with the wrapper on. This is a good analogy for Izuru. He is all wrapped up as well. Until someone unwraps him, he can not be used.
