Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince episode 20 shows the aftermath of Team Doberman’s mission to find the portal. Randy and Patrick had funerals. Their teammate Rakesh gave Irie the present of squid guts that Patrick had prepared to give her. Izuru starts to be effected by a condition that could kill him. Asagi has to take Izuru’s place in the Red mech to test it and finds out he has DNA similar to Izuru. This leads to him questioning his superior about his genes and finding out he is related to Izuru.
In this episode of Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince when Rakesh was looking over the caskets for Randy and Patrick they had some odd things in them. Randy’s was full of pinups and his porn files which looked more suitable for hd tube movies than it did for a boy’s bedroom. He may have looked at a look of it and shared it with people, but is that an appropriate memento to send off in his memory? It does not feel right to me, since if he really wanted to handle things that way he would have wanted they would use it or give it to someone to use. Patrick had the present for Irie in his, which I was hoping that they would give it to her instead of sending it off which they did. At least they handled that case correctly.
There were also two big revelations for the characters in this episode. Irie thought that their was no way that Patrick was interested in her, but then she finds out after he is gone that he was. Not only did he like her, but he went out of his way to get her favorite food as a gift. This must have been hard for Irie who is looking so hard for love to find out that it could have been so close, but just slipped through her fingers. Asagi also finds out that Izuru is his brother which he does not handle too well which is surprising. Asagi is pretty close to the group and has no memories, so it should be nice to find out he has a connection to someone. The DNA and being able to start up Izuru’s mech does give it a feeling like Asagi will need to take Izuru’s place eventually.
