Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince episode 19 shows what the team does after their winning battle. Unfortunately their commander has to find a new plan for the team to have a better chance of success. Team Doberman has to explore farther than man has ever gone to find a portal that the Wulgaru are using. They get caught and have to fight the Wulgaru which does not go well for their team and only one guy makes it out of the battle.
Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince episode 19 has the boys all watching porn and talking about what they like about women. Randy being a masochist and wanting women to step all over him is a bit disturbing considering how things ended. Suruga has weird taste which could explain why he does not want to watch the video. The way they act during the video directly reflects their personality and it is pretty funny. The first time when just Team Rabbits was watching it only showed their immaturity and inexperience. Having Team Doberman and Ange come in shows different aspects of all the main characters.
The deaths of two members of Team Doberman are not unexpected. Their group has been raising death flags since they first arrived. Also having the mentors die is a common way to get characters to grow. Since this episode revealed more about Team Doberman as people and then they kept talking about what they would do when they returned this was obviously the end of the line for them. I will miss the lightheartedness they brought to the series and the competence. If Team Doberman could not take on the Wulgaru it feels like Team Rabbits has no chance. Even with worse mechs Team Doberman were usually better since they are not bumbling idiots.
Heading towards what is supposed to be the end of Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince things are coming to a head. Team Rabbits has had their first real victory, but as they realize it came at a high cost. Their mechs are all still under repairs since most of them were almost totally destroyed. Their commander has also realized they will need more help and is having mechs like theirs mass produced to try to get them help. The commander also seems to realize at this point that taking the enemy out one at a time is too costly and has changed the target they are going after to the portal bringing them to the solar system. If that is how they finish off the enemy in the end it will be a bit anticlimactic.
