Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince episode 17 is the beginning of the invasion of the Academy. Team Rabbits is racing to make it in time to stop the Wulgaru from making it there to get samples of DNA. Ange has been sent to help Team Doberman, which was probably a good idea for the team. Prince Jiart hears about his sister being on Earth.
Hopefully having Ange leave the group in episode 17 of Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince is an indication of how the story is moving away from it. Ange is not a really interesting character, so I would rather not have time taken away from the original five anymore to explore this new sixth character. Especially since most of that time was not devoted to actually learning anything about it, but instead just harping on one theme.
Teoria being related to Prince Jiart is interesting. Hopefully this will not mean that the original mission of the Wulgaru will be abandoned in favor of getting at Teoria. It seems less likely since Jiart is hiding it at this point. Teoria has been just a love interest up until now, so hopefully something useful will come out of this new knowledge and not just a fight between the two rivals over her.
Hopefully he ends up with Tamaki or Patrick may never fight again. It is weird that Patrick has not approached her yet though Tamaki makes it very obvious that she is looking for a man.
At the end of this episode of Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince when the gun Suruga shot did nothing to the enemy it all seemed pretty hopeless. Throughout all these confrontations none of the important Wulgaru have been taken out. They have taken out tons of their clone soldiers that they do not care about, but no one with real skill. Anytime they have come up against a special character of the Wulgaru they have at most gotten them to retreat. On the other hand the Wulgaru have almost completely destroyed one of their mechs and could have finished Izuru off if they wanted too. Unless some of the other pilots level up their mechs soon it does not look like they have the equipment to hold back the Wulgaru. If they actually did manage it there is no way it would be believable at their current level.
