No Game No Life episode 4 shows how Blank became the rulers of Imanity. The end of the game to become ruler was decided by undermining the enemy king who was eventually eliminated by outsides forces. Then the team had to figure out who was in charge for no real reason. They quickly fixed the major problems of the nation and gained the love of the people.
No Game No Life’s game for ruling Elkia ended in an anticlimactic way. Sora did not even defeat her. According to him an outside force that was not part of the battle assassinated her king. That sounds pretty lame when there are two armies on the board and a revolting faction. Having him go down to his own king to save the kingdom would have been much better. Wish the fight had ended in a more exciting way it was the worst part of the episode.
Blank’s first acts ruling the nation show how the rules guiding the world can help leadership in No Game No Life. Especially having all people of importance unable to give away secrets due to losing a game. Knowing that all important information will not make it to the enemy is probably the most important thing they achieved. Their people are at such a disadvantage they need all the help they can get. Also being able to help fix the budget and crops in one go was nice as well. Funny that they used things they learned from gaming to do it.

The official outfit of the king is amusing. It looks just like the king’s outfit on a standard set of cards.
The brother and sister fighting against each other shows a different aspect of the team. Against each other it is pretty even when the contest is not one of their specialties. Only the group is undefeated. Separately they are incomplete. This could be an advantage for another group at some point if they can separate the two for a game.
The beginning of the speech to the public where Blank is crowned king and queen shows an appropriate amount of awkwardness considering the two are not good with crowds. Finally Sora shows what made him an outcast in the regular world. His strategy to change the populace’s shame about being the weakest race into pride for their ability to overcome others was well thought out.
The point of No Game No Life has been revealed at the end of the episode. Blank wants to beat all the other races, so that they can challenge God. If they beat him they could possibly become the new god. No matter what they want to be number one. So not only do they have humanity to help out in this story, but a goal they want to achieve.
