Now anyone can create their own shooter with FPS Creator Reloaded. Today we’re going to go over what this new program brings to aspiring developers. We think that this package may be everything needed to really boost this game creation engine to an entirely new level.
What FPS Creator Reloaded Does in Beta
The above video shows much of what the creator does so far. You can create a basic environment with lighting and terrain. Basic physics are also implemented. They hope to have much more in down the line. The final product is supposed to support everything you would expect from a AAA shooter title in an easy package. Right now it relies on sliders and some minor data entry to create the results.
Why FPS Creator Reloaded is Interesting for Developers
Many, many years ago Unity was not around. Then it came out and created a whole cottage industry of developers who use that framework. That same program continues to expand and bring in more people. We hope that they will also add features to let people make games out of the ordinary. If this particular program takes off it could create a brand new sector of the indie industry. It’s at least a story worth looking at for anyone who loves games. Their previous product had some success but this upgrade will likely take it to a new level.

Those who didn’t get in on the original Kickstarter can still pledge here. Even the smallest package gets you lifetime upgrades and a name in the credits. Those who pledge more can get additional packages to help them create their own FPS. Also is it just us or do these pictures remind you of Goldeneye 64?
