Two summer anime will be covered in this article Yuru Yuri and Kami-sama Dolls.
Yuru Yuri is a summer anime show about some girls in the amusement club. This is a club where they can do whatever they want. In the first episode they want to get crushes on each other and try to change people in silly ways. I was surprised about how the show turned out because at first it looked like it was going to be boring slice of life with very few comedy elements. When they reached the part about the club it changed. From that point on it was more like Azumanga Daioh or lucky star only focused around a club. The ending even had a part at the beginning where they all jump up like Azumanga Daioh. All the art and music for this show is very happy and cute. Not especially detailed art. Simple, but still nice. I am going to continue watching this show because it looks like a good schoolgirl comedy so far.

Kamisama Dolls

Kamisama Dolls is a horror show from this season. It is about a boy that moved away from his home town to get away from something. He is trying to live a normal life when things from his old life find him. First thing I have to say about this show is that it is trying to do too much. Loli, big boobs, robots, murder, and more all together make me wonder who they are trying to get to watch this show. So far it feels kind of mashed together to make everyone happy. Hopefully this will be straightened out later in the show. Second the music whenever the robots move should be cut out is just annoying. The animation and music are all fitting for the shows’ horror theme so no complaints there. Overall though I just have no wish to see how this show plays out. The elements involved are too diverse and the story is too overdone from what I can see. So I am dropping this show.
