This article contains first impression for two summer anime Kami-sama no Memo-chou and Ikoku Meiro no Crois.

Neets, detectives, stuffed animals, and what appear to be Yakuza are all in Kami-sama no Memo-chou. This show obviously has a lot going on. So far this show is about a group of people with different obsessions that come together to solve crimes and they are bonded by the fact that none of them are accepted by society.
The art style is charming but normal, while opening song is upbeat dance song. I plan on watching more of this show because I really what to know what is going to happen. Since most of the first episode was introductory I don’t have strong like or dislike for this show as of yet.

Ikoku Meiro no Crois
Ikoku Meiro no Crois is about a girl in the late 19th century who goes to become the live-in maid of a family in France. The story so far is about the misunderstandings between her and her master. This could just be an introductory thing or maybe the whole show will be “France and Japan are so different and so are this boy and girl”. The end of the episode showed some hope that it will move on from that though. I am betting the boy will learn how to be kind to people because of her. That is the vibe I get from this show. The artwork has an enjoyable cutesy style and I have faith the show will get even better.
