Gakkatsu! and Shiba Inuko-san are both very short shows so they will be presented together.
Gakkatsu!
Gakkatsu! is about a school where they allow the students to do what they want during homeroom. One class in particular like to have debates. Not just any debates though. Debates on important topics like the name of the bump on your wrist. The answer has to be just right as well or they will just make something up.
The artstyle for Gakkatsu! is not the best, but I think it fits the show. The thick lines and less detailed characters have their own kind of charm. I really like some of the more off the wall character designs they have for some of the classmates.
The premise of the show looks like it could get a bit repetitive, but it is just a short show, so maybe it will remain interesting. Hopefully they will only debate the best subjects like in the first show.

Shiba Inuko-san
Shiba Inuko-san is about an ordinary middle school student who happens to look like a dog. What kind of crazy adventures will the middle school students and Inuko-san get up to?
For me this show has already gotten repetitive. Just the opening made me tired of hearing about a girl who is a dog. That is pretty bad since the show from opening to ending is less than three minutes. The jokes in the first episode were pretty lame, so I can only imagine where it will go from here. Probably more jokes about how someone needs a dog for something and she is a dog or Inuko talking how they imagine a dog would talk. This show will probably only appeal to children who find the idea of a girl who looks like a dog hilarious.
Status: Dropped. Even being an extremely short show will not save this one.
