Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge is about a boy named Kiri that has a fetish for cutting hair. After hearing a rumor about a ghost with long hair Kiri finds Iwai who has long amazing hair that can not be cut. Iwai has more problems than just her hair, since she is being taken care of by murderers with inherited tools. Kiri finds out some important information about his own family that helps him solve Iwai’s problem.
The premise of Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge is pretty out there. There is the girl with the hair no one can cut, who draws in a boy who has fetish for cutting hair. After he meets her two girls come that have murder weapons that were handed down to them from their ancestors. Because so many families keep the family murder weapon for future generations to use. Also if these ancestors were known murderers like Kiri’s ancestor then the law enforcement would have kept the weapon for their investigation. They do not return that stuff to the family.
A big problem between Kiri and Iwai was that though Kiri was very interested in Iwai’s hair he could not cut it. This was a hang up for him and he had to decide between the ultimate hair or cutting hair. Fortunately for Kiri they do not make cursed hair like they used to and it was remarkably easy to find a way to cut Iwai’s hair. So the hair is cut, but this is only the first episode. It feels like the end of the show already. I know Iwai’s family problem is still around, but why would Kiri care about that? Now that Iwai’s hair is cut, Kiri should just move on to the next crazy hair.
The show is filled with stupid lines like the one above.
Kiri’s hair fetish was way too pronounced in the show. He seriously look like he was going to do something inappropriate right there when he was touching Iwai’s hair, like he had gotten some ideas from shemalehd sex
beforehand. It made me a bit uncomfortable, so hoping that will not come up again.
Overall this show might be so bad it is funny, but right now it is ticking me off too much. Mostly I think this show is just for hair fetish people, so they can get into it like the main character.
Status: Not Really Interested. The show feels like it should be over, but I might watch one more episode to see what they are doing with this premise now.
