They would obviously get the first pick if some excellent talent came out of the program. They are far from the only ones doing this because it works. We will probably see it happen more later on.

Most people remember them for Unreal Tournament. In the modern age they have released some smaller games here and there but made quite a bit of money by licensing the engine. Due to this they have had incredible success and flexibility in how they can run the company. It is easy to think of some of our favorite personal games on the engine. How will all the events here change the company? We think they will grow to an even larger industry powerhouse than before. Those who run their own companies would do well to take note.
