We went over Edge of Space a bit ago. However they are doing something very interesting. We want to go over what they are doing and bring you a video as well.

From 7 pm EST, Friday, March 8 through 7 pm EST, Sunday, March 10 you can check out their site and get a code. You can check out the game and find out for yourself if you like it.
Facts about Edge of Space
Edge of Space follows a popular formula lately. It is an RPG side-scrolling platformer. This means it has several things:
- A wide variety of items. These include huge numbers of weapons and armor sets
- Multiplayer gameplay in a sandbox-style world
- Extensive building materials
- A variety of interesting monsters
These are all fairly common in this style of game, despite being nice. So how does Edge of Space stand out? There are a few ways here as well:
- Vehicles with great variety. There are even mechs.
- A power grid system that allows you to create complex contraptions
- Modding support which allows people to create their own items
- An integrated IRC chat client
- A shark and dinosaur in space
So as you can see, they have shaken it up a bit. We think the IRC chat client is also a very cool idea. We want to see where the whole thing goes as well.
Edge of Space on Steam Greenlight
Edge of Space has been on Steam Greenlight for some time now. We will be checking out the game shortly and seeing how it is. We hope that you take a look as well.
