This mode plays pretty much exactly like a lot of team CTF games. You have a team and you have to grab an artifact. Then you have to take it back to your base. But it does have a twist. Each team has a number of “resurectors” as the game calls them. A team can lose these if the enemy captures an artifact, kills them or hacks special interfaces. Once you lose them all you lose the game.

Battle Royale mode is basically a frantic deathmatch mode as you would expect. However this one gives you a random weapon and armor on each life. You get points when you kill someone and when you survive to the end of the round. The fact that you do not get to choose some of the most important equipment really switches it up. It adds a random element.

The main thing this one improves is various vs. modes. This was something that was really lacking in the original. You could co-op with some people but it really needed more modes. Now it has them.
