Just in time for Christmas Dungeon Defenders has released the Etherian Holiday Extravaganza DLC.
All I want for Christmas is a lot of mana, a lot of mana, a lot of mana…oh wait. Trendy Entertainment gave Dungeon Defenders players a present. If you have played all the way through the campaign mode, you can receive millions of mana in presents under you tree. So start thinking of something else you want for Christmas this year.
Just like with the Thanksgiving DLC, there are four outfits that you can get from completing the DLC challenge.
Squire (Hard) : Mrs. Clause
Apprentice (Normal): Santa Clause
Huntress (Any Level): Santa’s Little Helper
Monk (Insane) : Rudolph
The tavern has been changed for Christmas. As usual everything is decked out for the latest holiday. There is even a token piece for Hanukkah and Kwanzaa.
The challenge mission requires you to deliver presents to trees. You have a limited amount of time to do so. Just to make it a bit harder, the tree you need to deliver to changes and the tree needs to be defended. In the first level you don’t even get many defense points, so you have to build while under fire.
As the waves go on you get more defense points, to the point where in the final wave you will probably have enough to defend every tree. I would not suggest doing this challenge mission alone since you have to worry about delivering presents and defending the trees.
After all the presents are delivered, the boss comes. The Mega Snowman has a ton of health even on easy. The snowman isn’t the only thing out to get you either. The waves of enemies keep coming while you try to defeat the Mega Snowman. Wait though you don’t just have to stay alive while fighting the snowman, you also have to defend Santa because if he dies you lose.
Sometimes even with fun new DLC, you have to make your own fun.
That new Ogre outfit….when I saw it my face was like the guy in the second picture. Probably the reaction intended with an outfit like that.
