Dungeon Defenders released on Valentine’s Day their latest DLC the Etherian Festival of Love. This includes Costumes, a new Challenge, and the changes to the decoration of the tavern.
Costumes
This time the costumes are not just for the for main characters. They have also released two costumes for the gender swapped characters. The Countess and Initiate have costumes as well.
Cupid: Monk (Normal)
Cupidette: Initiate (Easy)
Queen of Hearts: Countess (Hard)
Pants: Squire (Insane)
Dungeon Defenders is really going to make you work hard for those pants. Although I don’t know why you would especially want pants for Valentine’s Day.
Sky o Love
Sky o Love is the new challenge added with the Dungeon Defenders Etherian Festival of Love. In this challenge you have to get together a certain amount of couples to proceed to the next wave.
There are two Eternia Crystals in the middle of the map that need to be defended. If proper barriers and towers are put up to keep wyverns and standard monsters at bay then you can get to the task at hand of getting the monster couples together.
Certain doors on this map release female monsters and others release males. Not all the monsters have a gender specified. The special monsters with a gender either have a top hat on or a bow.
If you wait by a door after a little while a monster with a gender will appear and if you get the monster to follow you then you can lead it over to where monsters of the opposite gender are. When they get within a certain distance of each other the monsters will pair off.
In the beginning there will only be a few couples to pair up and easy monsters, but with each wave it gets more difficult.
There will also be a President’s Day DLC coming up very soon, so we will have something on that in the near future.
