Dungeon Defenders has released some wallpapers that have a schedule of console events on them. Some of them seem very fun, and some not so much.
- Dungeon Defender’s first event is “Paper Towers” You have to beat servants quarters with 1% health towers, which seems like a huge pain considering how annoying that map is.
- Next is monster madness, where you have to beat monster fest on hard with only towers. This one doesn’t seem too bad.
- The Spaced event seems really fun, as you will be playing on low gravity in the Royal Gardens.
- Beefcake Festival should be very interesting, as you must defeat a very strong version of the normal boss.
- The new Kill All Enemies! event will have you fighting tons of opponents at a huge rate of speed.
- All Brawn, No Brain is going to be very difficult, as you have to beat Ogre Crush on Insane with no towers. Hope you have some decent gear.
- Dome of Thunder, an obvious play on Thunderdome, is going to be a very frightening setup to a normal map. It’s a Hall of Heroes fight, but if you die all of your equipment gets dropped. Needless to say, this is rather problematic.
- None Shall Pass asks you to beat the armory on hard with low health cores and heroes. One hit will cause a game over.
As you can see, several of these events will be serious challenges requiring some concerted teamwork.
We should also inform you that Squire got nerfed HARD, with huge decreases in damage on his Harpoon and Bowling ball. Other characters got minor buffs and nerfs, and they are trying to buff Apprentice into being a really good character.
