Dungeon Defenders 2 Early Information

Dungeon Defenders 2 is coming out before long. However the game has gone through some changes that may interest you. We want to bring you all the early information we can in this article.

Dungeon Defenders 2 – Towers and MOBAs

Dungeon Defenders 2 will have the traditional co-op modes in one part of it. However the new, main focus is going to be on MOBA style play. You will be able to choose from a variety of defenders. Then you will compete with other teams of defenders in traditional MOBA style. This marks a huge change for the game. Going from cooperative to competitive is a massive change. We hope that the co-op modes still get the attention they deserve. After all, that is what made the game famous originally.

Dungeon Defenders 2 Free-to-Play

The other massive change is they will be going over to a “Free-to-Play” model. This will probably entail all the good and bad things which such games have. This will mean things such as rotating defenders, cosmetics and other things that these games have. However the details of it are still being decided on. They likely will not decide on a model until the full game is out. We could give you an educated guess on how they will handle it, but yours would be as good as ours.

Dungeon Defenders 2 Beta

They are currently having a beta that you must be invited to. You can sign up for this beta right here. You can also send tweets with #DD2 in them to get a chance at a beta invite. We hope to cover the game fully when it comes out. Give us feedback if you would also like guides on how to play characters. We will do character guides for any characters that people ask for. As long as the co-op modes are not neglected this game should be great.
