Dungeon Defenders 2 Early Access and Charity Event

Trendy Entertainment is having a joint charity event/early access package. They have teamed up with Child’s Play and are giving you a shot at playing the game in an early state while helping charity. Come find out about how this game has changed over time and where they are at now.

Dungeon Defenders 2 and a MOBA No More

After tons of complaining from fans. We mean a lot, huge amounts, they finally decided to change it back to a third person tower defense game. We think this is a good choice as to be fair they shouldn’t have any idea how to do a MOBA to start with. With this massive change a lot of fans have shifted back in favor of the company.

The Upcoming Early Access Donation Event

The event itself is coming up on the 11th of this month. You can donate $30 to help the Child’s Play charity and get early access to the the game as well. Be sure to check back at their main site for when it goes live. Until then we’ll just have to wait for a chance to try everything out. They are also having eBay auctions for council seats which will allow you to give input on the game. This is a strange way to handle it so we’ll see if it works.

More Dungeon Defenders 2 Info

One major thing they are trying to improve is the intelligence of the enemies. While we loved the first game some enemies could be depended upon to always follow the same course. Now they’re creating a system where the enemies go towards the weakest points in your defense. We hope that it works out and creates a more challenging environment for players. Other than that you should just expect new items, classes and traps.
