Devil May Cry Vergil’s Downfall is coming out soon. This comes along with the Bloody Palace DLC. In this article we want to go over the new product and Devil May Cry so far.
The New Devil May Cry Reception
The Devil May Cry remake has not proved to be the awful disaster some fans claimed. For what it was worth, we did not expect good things ourselves. At the same time it was not the amazing rebirth some claimed. It turned out to be a fairly competent game with some story elements that made a few of us cringe. In other words, average. It seems we all made too much of a big deal of it so far.
The Devil May Cry Vergil’s Downfall DLC
The DLC will cost 720 Microsoft Points or around $8.99 USD. It has several features including:
- A new adventure where you play as Vergil
- A new storyline with the normal difficulty options
- New weapons, combos, enemies and locations
The storyline of this DLC is rather self-explanatory. You control Virgil as he falls from… something. We assume this DLC will have some big ramifications in later games.
Devil May Cry and the Bloody Palace Mode
The Bloody Palace Mode will be back once again. There will of course be over 100 bonus levels of combat. Hopefully this mode will live up to the previous legends. Bloody Palace was a favorite of many gamers. This particular DLC will be free. This is a good move by Capcom, because some gamers would flip out if charged for this. The mode is looking fairly good so far. It promises to have five bosses for you to check out as well. We would have hoped to have seen this on launch. However it is nice that it is free. As usual check out Capcom-Unity if you would like to hear more.
