While many sites like to go to the developer correctly, you may have trouble just starting out. This site can help you out to get some early game videos as you are starting. But for larger sites such as Giant Bomb, etc, this can prove a useful resource as well. G2PO can actually work to spread your video, bringing clicks into your site after you share videos. And more publicity is rarely a bad thing.

Developers and writers, there are many resources hidden out of the ordinary. Where did we first hear about THQ having so much trouble? The answer is Yahoo business. Writers, you can find new stories in the business section as new companies are bought, old ones fall and the industry shifts. Be sure to keep watch on business news and general news. Keep track of all the latest activities happening around the world.

Capcom and many other sites have official mailing lists. For writers, these are of great utility. For developers, you can find out useful info such as that Capcom is currently publishing games from Japanese indie developers and publishing them through Steam, etc.
