Demon’s Souls is coming to PSN soon.
Demon’s Souls will be here soon
1/18/2013 is the scheduled date for the PSN release. Players will also be getting a pure white tendency event on the servers so new players can try the game out. It is all very nice for one of the greatest games ever made. Those who already play it on PC might want to consider a MSI Afterburner download to see if they can push the graphics even more and get even more out of this awesome game before it’s released on PSN.
The many ways Demon’s Souls is better than Dark Souls
While I must confess that much of this is due to my personal opinion, here are a few ways many of you might agree with:
- Better bosses overall. Dark Souls was filled with incredibly easy bosses which no one would have trouble with. Demon’s Souls had difficult bosses with a unique style, with the last boss being the only exception. To be fair, the last boss of Dark Souls was about as easy as the one in Demon’s Souls. If you knew how to parry and didn’t ragequit.
- More extreme setups in multiplayer such as the incredibly powerful meat cleaver and some spell match-ups. Although to be fair, the factions caused Dark Souls to have a better overall experience.
- Demon’s Souls was not nearly as cheap in deaths. In Demon’s Souls when I died, I was doing something stupid. In Dark Souls when I died, it felt like the game had cheated me. This is from someone who beat Dark Souls in a quarter of the time of an average gamer. It still felt cheap even though I did well.
- Demon’s Souls had less of a hacking problem. Hacking was ridiculously prevalent on Xbox 360 and seen some on PS3 in Dark Souls. While a skilled gamer can run them off a cliff or beat them other ways, we shouldn’t have to.
If you haven’t tried it before, try it now
