It’s no mistake to think that we love this series here. Unfortunately after the first two things became somewhat hit-or-miss with it. Before we get started we should mention that this is a mature game with some dark subtones to it, so parental discretion is advised.
A New Style for Deception IV: Blood Ties
For this one they are going for a more hi-tech and sleeker look. This game is also definitely not for kids with some mature undertones and blood. However the same blend of horrific traps along with ridiculous circumstances should still be here.
A More Sadistic Style to Deception IV: Blood Ties
While it was never really something for kids part of the game was deciding whether to really be so evil or not. It dealt with the fact that many of the people you were trying to kill were good people. You had to accept that.
This game has taken a different turn though. You have three demons trying to help you revive the devil. You need to torture, humiliate and perplex your victims to make them happy and get benefits. Pretty well dark and disturbing.
We hope that this is a revival of the series and not another under performing or overlooked sequel. Because the gameplay has always been excellent.
The Deception IV: Blood Ties Release Date
The game itself will be released on March 28th of 2014. It is coming out for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita systems. We aren’t sure whether they will be bringing it out for more consoles later on.
This release comes on a wave of new games from Tecmo Koei as well. It seems like they are a company that likes to release everything at once. So take a look at their offerings and decide for yourself if this new wave is good.
