Death Road to Canada Kickstarter Spotlight

Here at Nerd Age we’re big fans of both Death Roads and Canadians. That’s why Death Road to Canada has been a big hit with the writers here. This game combines all the aspects that you would expect so we want to give you a spotlight.

Walking on the Death Road to Canada

The game itself is a zombie survival game with roguelike aspects. You fight hordes of zombies in random cities with random survivors. The game is basically everything many of us want in one game. Rare events are also a big part of the game as well.

Rare Survivors on the Death Road to Canada

Another big selling point on this game is the characters. You can find many brave and noble adventurers including:

  • Speedo Horse Head Man
  • Panda
  • Elvis
  • Pokemon Trainer
  • Mountie

They all come with their own unique characteristics as well.

The Amazing Story of Death Road to Canada

The world has fallen into post-apocalyptic zombie domination. Maple syrup and hockey are perhaps the last things that can fend the massive hordes off and therefore you need to get to Canada. The survivors themselves keep track of how they feel about each other. So you may have some getting a bit too close or perhaps a bit too violent over time.

Death Road to Canada Choices

Choose your Own Death Road to Canada

The game also has multiple choices whenever you interact with a survivor. Fortunately each one appears to include the choice to tell anything or anyone to “Cool it” which is terribly important in any horror game.

The Death Road to Canada Rewards

As with any Kickstarter you can get copies of the game, special thanks or even characters designed for you at higher levels. We suggest you check out this game for the sheer random events and characters if nothing else. The game is also of course on Steam Greenlight.
