Do you like Deadly Premonition? Don’t worry if not because we like it enough for all of you. However if you do then the makers of it have a new game in development. Cloudbuilt is their next project we are going to go over today.
Cloudbuilt Gameplay
In the bright color and flashing lights of the far future, there is only going really fast. That is pretty much this game in a nutshell. It’s a 3D third-person platformer It is all about getting through the levels as quickly as you can.
The draw of it is that the levels branch like many classic, older games. It also incorporates learning mechanics as you play like some older games. It looks like they are trying something more traditional with this game than they are used to. It also has a beautiful and very straightforward art style.
The Story of Cloudbuilt
According to a little information early on the main character is named Demi. The levels are in her mind after she was injured in a war and is trying to piece herself back together.
The developers have not put much of a focus on story. It’s being developed by Coilworks for Steam and they aren’t overly concerned with story. It seems odd for a Rising Star to work with them since their most famous game, Deadly Premonition, was all about the hilarious story.
Where Cloudbuilt Goes from Here
The game is getting quite a lot of attention from the press due to the beautiful art style and large amount of action. You can always check in with the developers later for more information on it.
