Capcom News - Resident Evil and Street Fighter- Nerd Age
23
Capcom Digital Collection is coming for all you nostalgia fans. A lot is going on with Capcom.
The digital collection has quite a few games including:
- Bionic Commando Rearmed 2
- Final Fight Double Impact
- Flock!
- Rocketmen: Axis of Evil
- Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
- Super Street Fighter II Turbo Remix
- Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3
While not all of them are nostalgic Capcom classics (Bionic Commando Rearmed 2) they are at least decent games. And Final Fight Double Impact is in itself a really great package. The release date for the digital collection is March 27, 2012, only for Xbox 360. It’ll be available on-disc for a cost of $39.99. This gives a chance for those who don’t care for Xbox Live to get these games.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon city also promises to have a different draw to the game than usual. The game will have a massive multiplayer battle mode of 4v4 with multiple B.O.W.’s interfering. It looks like this game will be a departure from the gameplay of the RE2 setting it is in.
Resident Evil Revelations is also promising to fill in the blanks. It’ll be telling us what exactly happened to Jill and Chris before 5. It also has some of the creepiest creatures ever seen in a Resident Evil game.
As we mentioned earlier Resident Evil 6 has been announced. We’re all hoping that it will bring back some of the great gameplay of 4. There should at least be a wide variety of play styles, as Chris, Leon and a mystery man who could very well be hunk are there.
Street Fighter X Tekken is also looking really good. It doesn’t look like we’ll be getting any more surprise characters, so we’re just waiting for release.
As usual be sure to check out Capcom Unity. We hope to have a substantial review of Street Fighter X Tekken for you later on.
