Blade Symphony gears up for release

Blade Symphony, the fast-paced sword dueling game, is coming soon. In our opinion it outdoes Chivalry in most every way. It is also coming to Steam soon. However you are probably wondering why it exceeds other games. Let us go over that right now.

Blade Symphony Select Screen

Superior gameplay with Blade Symphony

Other games have a few choices of swings. Blade Symphony takes it several steps further. You can choose from multiple styles of sword. All of these have their own unique attacks. Each of these styles has three styles of their own. You can make speedy attacks, balanced attacks or power attacks. Finally you have different characters with their own nuances. This leads to a wide variety of flexible fighting styles.

Blade Symphony Aerial Attacks

There are also aerial attacks in Blade Symphony. You can use these to throw off the enemy. Finally it has charge attacks which give you a bit of extra power or speed. We hope the fighting system sounds deep because it is.

Blade Symphony Free Roam

The standard mode is a duel in which two players square off. However there is also a free-roam mode now which leads to chaotic battles. No matter which mode you play the action is fast and exciting. Most of all the fights just feel smooth. This is something some other, clunkier games do not have.

Blade Symphony Backgrounds

The art of Blade Symphony

Since we last covered the game things have changed. The models have a more sleek style to them. Everything looks ultramodern. Overall the game has greatly improved in many ways. From lighting effects to player models it all looks great. Blade Symphony looks less like an indie game than a full AAA title.

Kickstarter done right with Blade Symphony

Another reason it interests us is that it is done right. Many Kickstarters get their money and make little progress. Or they go about their Kickstarter wrong. The Blade Symphony developers have put the effort in and are already in beta. In fact, the game is already mostly done from what we have played. We are excited to see it finished.

Check out Blade Symphony yourself

Pre-orders of the game begin this month. Be sure to check out the Blade Symphony main site. While our review is glowing, we are never paid for any of the reviews done here. Check the game out for yourself.
