The Extra Life marathon was held this Saturday, November 7, on the Twitch.tv/survivetheark channel. Join Bikeman casted a $20,000 competition where the winning teams will had a massive donation made in the name of their team.
Competitive ARK: Survival Evolved
After significant efforts by the marketing team and developers the competitive scene for this game is growing steadily. While we certainly don’t have anything like “pro” players the game has ignited Twitch with streamers of significantly varying skill. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out in the long run. It could grow into something even bigger.
ARK Gigantosaurus Revealed
The Gigantosaurus was also added recently. As a truly massive dinosaur the creature can act as a sort of mobile base for your group. It is set up to be a truly devastating encounter only for those who are geared for the end game.
What makes it so dangerous is that every hit causes the creature to grow angrier. The Gigantosaurus has a titanic bite attack that does more damage based on how much angry you made it. Fortunately the same goes for your enemies as well after you tame it.
Developers Ramp-up Dinosaur Releases in ARK
Considering the “gigant” and the recent release of the Pachycephalosaurus it looks like the release pace is increasing significantly. This is good news for owners of the game. For those who have yet to play the game be sure to check it out on Steam.
