AKB0048 Next Stage episodes 11 and 12 are about events leading up to the Flying Get returning to Akibastar. Episode 11 mostly focuses on Chieri’s childhood and her relationship with her father. Episode 12 is about getting the girls ready to all be radiant enough to react with the dualium.
AKB0048 episode 11 is all about Chieri’s childhood and relationship with her father. It shows that from the beginning when Chieri found out about AKB0048 to seeing the group in person, all of it was orchestrated by Chieri’s father. That would be just fine except that right at the end they get rid of what has been the major villain of the second season by shooting him down. Even after watching episode 12 there is no answer to who shot her father. It is a major letdown that there was no resolution with that part of the series. They did not come to an understanding with him or find a way to outsmart him. Hopefully he is still alive since there has been no decent confirmation of his death. Even if he comes back at this point there probably will not be a decent conclusion to all that has happened unless there is another season.
Poor Yuko even when she achieved her dream of becoming a Center Nova, she finds she has still not reached Atchan. While the group has visions due to reacting with the dualium Chieri and Nagisa see that Yuko is unable to reach the same place as the other Center Novas because she was immediately teleported. Also the place that all the girls disappear to is some image of the old AKB48 stage.
The drama and fighting for AKB0048 is really reaching a low. Between Chieri’s father being shot for no reason and the answer to the group’s problem being that everyone needs to reach Center Nova level this is getting ridiculous. How are all the girls supposed to suddenly reach a level that usually is only obtainable by one girl out of the group? Somehow they have already gotten to that level from a little bit of practice. This series has really lost its way. It used to at least be funny while it was being outlandish. Now this halfhearted drama is ruining it.

They only obtained a radiance of a similar level than a Center Nova’s, but only Chieri and Nagisa saw the place where the Center Novae go to when they disappear. That most likely means only Chieri and Nagisa have true Center Nova potential and are real candidates to the position.
