In AKB0048 episode 6, we get to learn about the benefits of haters and finally the return of weird weapons and mechs.
Show starts off showing all the underage girls in bathing suits.
The girls are finally having their debut at a handshaking event in AKB0048 Episode 6. They are all excited until Orine gets a hatemail saying that if she shows up the fan will plant a bomb. Then Orine has to overcome her fear and concern for others so that she does not disappoint her fans. This whole thing was obviously going to end with Orine finding out something that would make the whole hatemail ok. I probably would have liked the whole thing better if the fan had planted a bomb instead and she had learned to toughen up for her profession. Since that was not the case she learned that even people that dislike you can teach you things and you should work harder until they love you. In real life though no matter how hard you work, and sometimes because you work so hard people are not going to love you. Orine did not learn to deal with rejection really and the lesson behind this is stupid. It is not a good idea to change everything about yourself so that people will like you better.
Don't forget how important it is to be really creepy while shaking a fan's hand.
Well finally the thing I started watching this show for has returned. The mechs and strange weapons are back and they brought their best friend, fan mechs. The fan mechs have pictures of their favorite idol on them and the fans helping protect the idols are wearing special battle coats. It is pure gold. At first when I saw the guy shooting off the glowstick missiles I was confused, but these fighting fans is just what the show needed to counter the melodrama. They all seem pretty hardcore obsessed putting their lives on the line to protect idols.
This is what the special coat for the fans looks like. In their hands are either missile glowsticks or lightsaber glowsticks. Gotta wonder where they get their technology.
So glad we are out of the all melodrama part for a little bit and back to the hilarious fighting. The addition of more mechs to trip up the DES just makes it better.
I somehow think they are not just thinking about the fans.
