Sword Art Online episode 7 focuses on the newly introduced character Lisbeth. Lisbeth is a smith and Asuna’s good friend. Kirito comes to Lisbeth with a commission for a new sword and breaks her finest sword. Lisbeth then cleverly get herself accepted to go along with Kirito to collect the materials. While on their mission to collect materials from a dragon, things go wrong and the two of them end up spending the night in a dragon’s nest. During their time together Lisbeth feels like she is falling in love with Kirito. Unfortunately Lisbeth soon finds out that her good friend Asuna already has feelings for Kirito and tries to suppress her feelings for him.
Finally Kirito seems to have learned his lesson about going places in Sword Art Online with players that are weaker than him. Lisbeth really had to fight him to get to go on this mission and I think it is about time that Kirito did that. There have been good experiences with him taking people with him, but it is still a really risky proposition. He can not always be there and people will really die if he gets too cocky about his prowess.
Sword Art Online has an interesting sense of humor sometimes. Kirito and Lisbeth go on a massive journey to find a rare material. They fall down a massive hole and think they might never come out only to find out that the wonder material they were looking for was poop. It probably was not all that rare in the area they were in then. I doubt the dragon only poops in its nest. They did not even need to fight that dragon in the first place. I doubt it would care if they hauled away the waste. Also I have to wonder if they could have just mined some crystal to achieve the same thing.
I do not understand why every girl is falling for Kirito. There are tons of guys in Sword Art Online. The ratio of girls to guys has to be very favorable to girls now that all fake girls are out of the picture. I also doubt he is the only nice guy among all of the guys in the game. I guess he has that unique blend of bad boy since he is a beater, but does not treat them badly. Well whatever the reasoning behind him getting all the girls this is starting to feel like a harem.
