Ragnarok Online 2 now in Open Beta

Ragnarok Online 2 has recently gone into open beta. We want to go over what that means for players and discuss the game itself.

Ragnarok Online 2 Kafra system

The Kafra system is basically a buzzword for the systems that make the game more convenient. It entails the various travel and storage systems that have been expanded. Basically it looks like it will be easier to get around in Ragnarok Online 2. You can also teleport from play areas. Convenience is vital in any good MMO.

Other Ragnarok Online 2 Features

Flying travel is also part of the game now. The much loved and much hated cards are here as well. Mounts are also going to be a big new part of the game. The RO2 cash shop serves much the same purpose as in other games.

The game itself has many similar systems from the first. You can expect the job system to be back with advanced classes. There will be instanced dungeons this time if you enjoy that kind of thing.

How Ragnarok Online 2 will compete with other MMOs

While it does little to stand out, there are two reasons it will still be popular. It has dedicated fans from one and the requirements for 2 are low. You only need a Pentium 4 2ghz to run it which is not hard at all. These will come together to give them some measure of success.

Ragnarok Online 2 Rewards

Players who participated in the closed beta get some bonuses. You get 5 Explorer’s Purple potion, 5 Remote Storage scrolls, 1 Spinel and 2 Butterfly wings. Those who have a character of level 10 by the 6th of January, 2013 will get 5,000 free RO2 cash. So they are giving quite a few bonuses for early players.

For those who want in on the Ragnarok Online 2 beta

Be sure to check out their site at PlayRO2. You can get a key fairly easily. Overall you should take a look at it and find out whether you might be interested.
