PlanetSide 2 has released a new trailer. This one stresses signing up for beta and the large environments. But we want to bring you some basic info we have acquired about the game as well.
The new PlanetSide 2 Video
Basically the trailer shows off a ton of the gameplay. Tanks, planes and massive battles with jetpacks. Everything you would expect from this game is featured here. All of these will insure that you will have fun storming the castle, so to speak.
PlanetSide 2 and Rumors
Everyone in the beta is of course sworn to secrecy. However this is not keeping the community from talking. As with all rumors there are interesting to note but should be taken with a grain of salt. From what we can gather they have had some basic latency issues early on but the gameplay is solid. This is something you would expect from an early beta of a game. We expect that most of the bugs will be cleared up by the time the NDA is lifted and we have full access.
PlanetSide 2 and a Nerd Age Group
If you are interested in having a group for PlanetSide 2, let us know. We will have a group for Guild Wars 2 as well. Each of these will have the full support of the site and may even give you a chance to play with some of the staff. If demand becomes high enough, we might even have a Nerd Age Ventrilo, Teamspeak or Mumble server. We want to do more than just report the news, we want a community for like-minded gamers.
