PlanetSide 2 New Command Center

PlanetSide has a new episode of the command center out for you and we’ll be going over it. We will also be going over the latest news and rumors concerning PlanetSide 2.

PlanetSide 2 Beta is in Full Swing

The Beta is currently in full swing. If you have not gotten an invite yet, be sure to check out their main site as usual. While we cannot talk about it yet, it should be obvious to anyone that we are getting closer to a real release. Hopefully we will have a concrete release date beforeĀ  long. These things are always subject to change though.

Most this Command Center was based around guests and cinematics. They have also started interviewing their own teams and Totalbiscuit. This is a step up from haircuts and sneakers.

They also interviewed Totalbiscuit who likes the game. If you’re a big fan of him then it probably matters to you that he is and will be playing the game. If not, well, no big loss to you that he is there. Go shoot him if you want.

What you really want to know about PlanetSide 2 from this video

While it is nice to hear about some events, if you are a hardcore fan you already know quite a bit of it. So we are going to go down the most important parts of it:

  • PlanetSide 2 is going to have a serious Asian following for many reasons including an existing fanbase and promotions there.
  • There are not a huge amount of servers yet and are trying to find the right amount. A safe bet would be a large number, since it is going free-to-play.
  • More continents are coming online in the beta as they are needed. We hope to see quite a few different continents.

They also did a meta joke with the Jace Hall show below. It is not really to our tastes, but some people might like it.
