We get to one of the best parts of the Battle Tendency arc which is the end of the fight with Santana in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Episode 13.
The Rundown of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Episode 13
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Episode 13 is an excellent part of the series. Joseph finds out that Santana cannot be hurt by his Hamon normally.
As a result he lets Santana partially absorb him. This lets him hit Santana with a full-out Hamon blast from inside. However Santana proves to be practically unstoppable. Joseph’s Hamon is not yet strong enough to destroy him.
Stroheim and Joseph manage to get Santana outside. This of course would destroy him but Santana takes Stroheim over. With his seemingly last act Stroheim blows himself up. Santana escapes and he tumbles down the well with Joseph.
Unfortunately for Santana, Joseph unblocks the reflection of the sun. Santana is roasted to stone as Joseph barely manages to keep him out of the water.
A lack of subs for Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure 13
One massive problem with this episode was a lack of subs for it. Apparently some group called Buddy Waters subbed this one. While we appreciate their hard work, the text style the use is a bit small.
Our fear for the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure TV series
I fear that western viewers are letting this great series slip through their fingers. To old fans, I implore you to promote it to your friends. It is unprecedented to get a show this close to the source content. It would be a terrible shame to see it cancelled for lack of interest or for western viewers to not be able to enjoy it.
The art is getting REALLY bizarre
The art choices in this episode had some really crazy colors. Our fears of the art getting a bit too crazy seem to be coming true. Hopefully they will find a good medium with other episodes.
