Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita episode 7 – Banana Model 9

Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita episode 7 copies

In Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita episode 7 the main character learns to be careful what you wish for when she says it would be nice to have multiple selves. Despite the main character telling the fairies not to make clones the fairies find a different way to make copies of her so she can make more sweets for them. This also involves the main character having to relive the same afternoon multiple times.

This episode of Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita comes first out of all the story arcs so far because this is when the main character meets the Assistant. The thing about the series being all out of order is that now I have to reevaluate what I thought of previous episodes. For instance, why did the main character seem so surprised about the weird food in the first episode. Here the fairies are in  this episode that comes chronologically before the first episode making weird bananas that have no flavor and other weird properties. Shouldn’t she have been more cautious in episode 1 about using the fairy products then after having all this happen with the banana.

Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita Chariot

This episode seems pretty straight forward for an episode of Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita. The banana makes the main character’s memory hazy and possibly has to do with replication. Whenever the main character replicates the dog replicates as well. Wherever the fairies have reset time a clock is embedded somewhere. No two main character copies can be together except in the fairy world. Have to wonder why the dog has no problem being around all the other dogs in town when the main character can not be near a copy. I really have to wonder what they are going to do in the whole next episode since the fairies seem to be satisfied at this point.

Sometimes it seems like they are just trying to show how detached and creepy the fairies are. In the picture above the fairies are playing ball with what appears to be a detached fairy head that groans when they kick it. Is this an indicator that to thrive in the Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita world you have to only think about yourself with no regard to life like the fairies? Anything to get what you want or you will die out. On the other hand considering the episode it could just be foreshadowing of their disregard for life that would lead them to making multiple copies of the main character just to make sweets for them. Maybe the head was the product of a botched experiment to make copies. I hope that something about it comes up again.

The main character, despite telling the fairies not to make clones, really does seem to want more copies of herself. Even her explanation shows it since she only says it would not be moral. Not that she personally finds it repulsive, but that it would not be moral. She probably wants a bit of relief from the demands of the fairies since she is one of only a few that can make sweets, so that she can handle the work her grandfather gives her. She never says anything against the extra girls even when it is obvious that she notices that they are the same as her. You can see the similarity when she looks for watches. Even when she is pointing out the other inconsistencies she leaves the extra girls alone. I guess since she told the fairies no she feels like she can morally let this slide now. Since they are doing it against her wishes.
