Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita episode 2 shows what is really going on with the mysterious factory that makes synthetic food. Considering what they had in the promos it was not much of a surprise.
As more and more of the in Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita episode 2 cast disappears in the factory I got a stronger feel of how mechanized and faceless business has gotten. The man at the front desk and the director of the factory did not see anything wrong with no one else being around. Even the people that worked there seemed like machines only concerned about their job and not about anything else.
The director of the factory in Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita episode 2 is a hyperbole of a person in business. He does not care about what is going on in the factory or who is in charge as long as he gets promoted. The director of the factory even smuggled goods for them so they would want to promote him. He is always looking for the next way he can become more important. At the end of the show all he cares about is what his new title is.
The chickens, while trying to overthrow their human masters, but still being ‘chicken’ was a nice touch. One minute they are high and mighty and the next they are throwing themselves over a cliff. If you do not conquer your fears, how can you hope to conquer others. Maybe they would have had a chance if they had banded together to take out the two humans instead of falling apart. Instead they gave in to their weakness even into the future when they will stop moving when humans touch them. I wonder if they will die out from that. I mean in a world where they are having trouble getting food suddenly a certain animal will just give itself up to them. I would think they would end up eating it to extinction. It is not like they have the common sense not to.
The fact that the main character’s hair was made intelligent by the synthetic goods seems like foreshadowing. Will they have more problems with things coming alive in the future? Will people have to deal with their own bodies rebelling against them due to the food? The hair was pretty strong and if it wanted to it could just choke the main character.
Overall the first episode Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita had more impact than episode 2 because a lot of the reveal was put in the promos. If I had not seen the chickens talking many times before I might have been surprised. I hope the next surprise is not spoiled ahead of time.
