Dungeon Defenders is having a free weekend on Steam. The Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards part 2 is also out. And even more than that, they are having a lucky community costume pack, which you can check out below.

And of course, there is a leprechaun costume as well. It wouldn’t be much of a St. Patrick’s Day celebration without one.

Welcome to Moraggo

The second part of the Dungeon Defenders Lost Eternia Shards DLC is quite beautiful. It combines a Persian theme with some nice water effects. And as you can see above, the Djinn are quite nicely animated. Let’s go down some of the features of this entry:

• The Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards: Part 2″Campaign Mission
• War of the Djinn Challenge Mission
• Oasis PvP Battleground
• Djinn Enemy
• Genie King Boss
• 10 new themed weapons
• 1 brand-new Pet with special abilities

PC and Mac users also get an 8-player co-op challenge and a desert princess costume. This DLC is availiable on Steam for $3.99 or as part of a DLC package that will give you all of the bonus content related to these.

Tips for handling the new Dungeon Defenders DLC

Djinn are significant threats you have to kill very quickly. They can instantly destroy your defenses and buff allied enemies. Treat them in much the way you would the Necromancers and use the same tactics.

The Genie King himself is a different story. You have to activate the lamps he hides in to get him out. Watch for a purple trail that he leaves behind, it will tell you where he is going. The lamp itself will also emit a purple smoke. Depending on your level, he can be dangerous due to his projectiles. You will have to dodge well and learn the patterns of the shots if you are mid to low level or are under-equipped.
