Company of Heroes 2 More Info

While indie games are our main thing, we want to cover other good games too. Company of Heroes 1 was arguably the best strategy game of all time. So we want to touch on Company of heroes 2. We do not know a lot yet, but the engine is looking good. It is a new version with better visuals.

Company of Heroes 2 Assault 1

What we know so far about Company of Heroes 2

The game is going to have dynamic snow conditions. It appears that Company of Heroes 2 will have snow that changes the gameplay. This is something we would like to see in more games. This will also likely mean that modders can add even more weather. We would love to see additional dynamic effects in a mod. Perhaps a mod around Erwin Rommel, the Desert Fox.

The game itself is going to be on a different front. There will be all new characters and units. We can expect serious additions to the game. Danny Bilson, Executive Vice President of Core Games, also mentioned “a strong post-launch digital content plan” which basically translates to DLC. Or more accurately it translates to DLC and lots of it.

Company of Heroes 2 Awards

The game has already won a large number of awards from all over the industry. Of course you have to cut through some of the hype. Not every one of these awards is going to be legit. This is simply due to the high level of corruption in the industry today. Hopefully there is an excellent game underneath the hype.

The Future of Company of Heroes 2

Despite some shaky problems with THQ the game will be made. New shots are being released. THQ UK Limited is still working hard on the title. Company of Heroes 2 is currently scheduled for Early 2013. As usual check back with us later and check out their official site.
