Yesterday the Bundle in a Box was released. It had been heavily hyped by many people as a revolutionary new bundle. Does it live up to it’s promises? Well, we will just let you decide.

The Bundle in a Box Games

Bundle in a Box 1983 Rotunda

1983 is a text-based game in which you must unravel the mysteries within the World’s Fair. Murder and intrigue abound in this game.

Gemini Rue is a puzzle-adventure point-and-click game. It has a cyberpunk style and tense atmosphere.

Ben There, Dan That! and Time Gentlemen, Please! are also off-beat point-and-click adventures. These games sell themselves on their comedy. This bundle could be said to have the theme of point-and-click.

Bundle in a Box The Sea Will Claim Everything

The Sea Will Claim Everything is yet another point and click adventure. You could consider it their flagship title for this. It sells itself on it’s strange art style and story.

The Bundle in a Box Extras

At the time of this writing, you get all these for $2.89. If you beat the average of $5.80 you also get the point-and-click Jewish thriller The Shivah, and Metal Dead. Metal Dead is an apocalyptic, you guessed it, point-and-click adventure.

But what keys do I get?

Most of the games have Steam and Desura keys as well as direct downloads. 1893, The Shivah and The Sea Will Claim Everything only have Direct downloads. Metal Dead has a Desura key and direct download, according to their site. This bundle has an unfortunate lack of keys. While this may be a problem for some of us, those who don’t bother with Steam or Desura should be fine.

How to get the Bundle in a Box

Simply check out their main site. They support all the normal indie payment plans such as Paypal, Visa and Mastercard. If they sell enough they will be giving out soundtracks for Gemini Rue, Metal Dead and The Shivah.
